Department of Arts and Culture
DAC remains the key sponsor of Moshito contributing a total of R1.8 m to the project.
Gauteng Sport, Arts, Culture and Recreation
Gauteng SACR provided a 25% increase from 2006 sponsorship with keen interest in strengthening the partnership. Specific budget was allocated to the VIP Dinner (R20 000) and to the subsidisation of 100 delegates (R30 000). A total sponsorship of R250 000 was received from the department.
SABC
The media partnership between SABC and Moshito included 352 ‘spots’ from 21st – 25th August 2007. The purchase value as indicated by the SABC equals R 643 000
City of Joburg
The City of Joburg waived all rental costs for Museum Africa and sponsored R40 000 for the Official Cocktail Party.
Gearhouse
Gearhouse provided a discount of almost 60% on all technical production services for the conference, screenings and photographic exhibition. The value of this in-kind sponsorship equals R 107 000.
SAMRO
SAMRO was the main sponsor of the Moshito Showcase. Sponsorship from SAMRO amounted to R60 000 to cover costs relating to the Showcase.
BASA
BASA subsidised exhibition stands to the total value of R25 000 for emerging companies owned by individuals from previously disadvantaged backgrounds, and including Moshito DigiHub. |
